Storyline:
Hushpuppy, intrepid six-year-old girl living with her father, Wink, in the bathtub, southern Delta community at the edge of the world. Winks tough love prepares her for the discovery of the universe, the time when it is already there to protect her. When Wink hires a mysterious illness, nature of the flights out of whack, temperatures rise and the ice caps melt, releasing an army of prehistoric creatures called Aurochs. The water rises, Aurochs come and winks health fading, Hushpuppy goes in search of her lost mother.
